Dunn Family Cottage Rental Agreement – PET Addendum:

This PET agreement is an addendum to the Dunn Family Cottage Rental Agreement and must be signed for a pet(s) to stay on-premise.

1. Renter has read, understands and agrees to abide by all applicable house policies pertaining to PET(s).
2. Your pet has not knowingly harmed (i.e. dog bite, chewing, marking, etc.) any other person, animal or unintended object in the past.
3. Your pet is up to date on all vaccinations, rabies and otherwise.
4. Your pet is free of any transmittable diseases, fleas or worms.
5. Any damage caused by pet either to the interior or exterior of the cottage, grounds or other property will be full and sole responsibility of renter. Full financial responsibility will be required to bring all damaged items up to original condition, including replacement if no suitable intermediate solution is available.
6. The pet will be allowed out of the cottage or yard only under the complete control of a responsible human companion of proper age and build to handle pet on a (6’ max.) hand-held leash. The pet is not allowed to roam freely or be tethered unsupervised.
7. Pet will not be left unattended for an undue length of time, either indoors or out. Pet must not be left unattended on patios or porch.
8. Renter will prevent pet from engaging in behaviors or creating excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors, including but not limited to, barking, jumping and running.
9. Renter will diligently pick-up waste and/or maintain litter boxes, or like item, as well as pet sleeping and eating areas. Pet waste should be double bagged in airtight plastic bags and put in proper receptacle.
10.If it becomes necessary for the pet to be boarded elsewhere, any and all costs incurred will be the sole responsibility of the renter.
11.The renter agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend rental owner or his agents against all liability, judgments, expenses (including attorney fees) or claims by third parties for any injury to any person or damage suffered to any property of any kind whatsoever caused by renter’s pet.
